 At 1 p.m. Central time on May 31, the Public Library Association (PLA) will host a free live, hour-long webinar, “Managing Traditional and Social Media for Libraries,” covering the fundamentals of media planning and outreach—including social media—to prepare library staff to work with the media and generate attention that will support the library’s activities and advocacy efforts.

Please join everyone at the PR Xchange event, located in the Morial Convention Center, Room 260-262 between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, to pick up great promotional materials from North American libraries of all types.

You can also enjoy the Best of Show awards ceremony at 12:30 p.m., where the winners and honorable mentions for achievement in a number of areas of library promotion will be awarded.
